Dear Friends,

So how was everyone's week? What are you looking forward to for the weekend? I know for me it's going to the the town wide yard sale! I almost was going to miss it as I had someplace to be but that got called off (sadly but that's another story) so I get to go. I wanted to take this opportunity to remind every one we do take your yard sale leftovers at St Marks if you want to bring us stuff rather than put it away or leave it for the garbage.Your donation goes directly to help the poor who come to eat at our soup kitchen, either by selling at the thrift store or given directly to those who need items. Come visit us sometime, its like a yard sale that never ends!

Please pass the word that teenagers and college age kids home for the summer can come to St Marks to get in some volunteer hours. Help needed in kitchen, office, thrift store and more. Looks good on a resume or linked in profile...just show up any day Mon to Sat 9 am to 2 pm at the Community Center at 247 Carr Ave Keansburg. Ask for Verena or Mother Kathy
