I will have a meetup sign

  • We had fun last time so let's do it again! We are going to go see a movie on a Saturday night at the Hazlet Theater and then go to the Red Oak Diner after.  I am going to pick a movie in the 7-8pm ish time frame and we can hit the diner at 9-10pm ish for dinner, drinks, dessert whatever you want and of course plenty of conversation! I will post the movie and send updates a few days before the event.

So plan is to meet me in the lobby 20 min before the show OR come inside the theater and find me there. I will have a meetup sign so look for it and I go into the right side a few rows down. After the movie we can head up to the diner
If you want to just meet at the diner after please leave that comment. If you don't like the movie I end up choosing you are free to see something else and meet us later as well.

Hope to see you at the movies!

I am hoping some of you feel the same and will show up. You can also RSVP on the Facebook event here: Back to the 80's Jakeabobs Fundraiser
Details: Our friends at Jakeabobs Bay need our help! Gigi and Wally have helped our community of Union Beach in so many ways after that fateful night on October 29,2012. Now they are the ones in need. Due to funding delays and red tape they are struggling to rebuild at their original location on the waterfront. This is a fundraiser to help with the rebuild.

The event runs from 8 to 11pm I plan to get there by 7:15 at the latest to get us a table or two so if some can come early and help me save spots that would be lovely. I will be eating dinner there as well, they have a great menu to choose from.

So post if you are going to come, if you are also coming early for dinner and if you are dressing up 80's style..I will do the big hair gotta see what else I can come up with.
Hope to see you there!  Love, Cassie  cassiescalendar.blogspot.com/

Kayaking in the Pine Barrens

    9:30 AM
  • Micks Canoe and Kayak Rental

    3107 Route 563, Chatsworth, NJ

  • Enjoy kayaking down the Wading river for a 3 to 4 hour paddle. Kayaks can be rented at Mick's and will be transported with us to the put in and take out spots. Bring your lunch, drinks, snacks, hat, sun glasses, dry bags(water tight), bathing suit, towel and change of clothes and enjoy a fun paddle with new and old friends. We will stop along the way at a beach and have lunch and socialize. Rental and carrying fees run approximately $45, but that could be less depending upon the number of attendees. Bring your own kayak if you like and save on the rental fee. I suggest a smaller kayak(10 ft.) so you don't get caught up in narrow areas. It's a fun adventure for novices and experienced kayakers alike. We will meet in the parking lot at 9:30 SHARP!  This is a multi-group meetup!

Exit 52 on the Garden State Parkway will get you to Chatsworth. A GPS will be helpful or Google Map it to Mick's.

Ed is hosting to attend you must RSVP

I will look near the bench for my peeps then get us seats on the right side a few rows down. Look for the meetup sign. Those who only want dinner plan on 9:30 for the diner and indicate on your RSVP if movie or dinner or both.

    7:00 PM
  • Rave Motion Pictures: Hazlet 12

2821 Highway 35, Hazlet, NJ (edit map)

    Love, Cassie

News and Events 3-9-14

Dear Friend or Friend to be,
How was everyone's week? I know we have been in a difficult time lately and lots of things seem to be going wrong but I promise that the tide is turning, the light is returning and better days are ahead! Myself I have been forced to rest and lay low due to a back injury but that's not a bad thing to do sometimes. Soon enough spring will be here and it we will all be out and about in full scale again! Here's to better days!
With Love and In the Light,  Cassie
