I've notified most members who signed up that the kayaking event
scheduled for the 26th has been canceled do to very low water
temperature and that I intend to repost the meetup sometime in late
May....................Ed (Can't risk anyone getting hyperthermia.

Enjoy kayaking down the Wading river for a 3 to 4 hour paddle. Kayaks can be rented at Mick's and will be transported with us to the put in and take out spots. Bring your lunch, drinks, snacks, hat, sun glasses, dry bags(water tight), bathing suit, towel and change of clothes and enjoy a fun paddle with new and old friends. We will stop along the way at a beach and have lunch and socialize. Rental and carrying fees run approximately $45, but that could be less depending upon the number of attendees. Bring your own kayak if you like and save on the rental fee. I suggest a smaller kayak(10 ft.) so you don't get caught up in narrow areas. It's a fun adventure for novices and experienced kayakers alike. We will meet in the parking lot at 9:30 SHARP! This is a multi-group meetup!
Exit 52 on the Garden State Parkway will get you to Chatsworth. A GPS will be helpful or Google Map it to Mick's.
