News and Events 2-26-16

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

So how was your week? That rain did a number on my joints this week but other than that I am good. How about you? I can't believe that Feb is nearly over can you? But this is a leap year so we get an extra day and not only that but tradition says that women can propose to a man on this day! So look out guys! Are there any of you out there who wish a woman would at least ask you out?

With Love and in the Light, Cassie

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

So how was everyone's week? I have been crazy busy but in a good way. I started taking my new Plexus products to help loose weight, balance my blood sugar and other issues and I have more energy and I am feeling better already! I have even had a few people tell me that I look thinner! Anyway don't forget that this Monday the 22nd is the full snow moon. Set your intentions and see what you can manifest for yourself! What do YOU need? Me I am still looking for a new roommate.

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

Well it's here, the dreaded V-day weekend. Those of us who are single, I don't care how brave you are I am sure there is a twinge of sadness. Even those who are in a relationship sometimes have V-day anxiety because of the inflated prices and wanting to please the other. So let me just say that this year the person you need to love the most and treat the best is YOU! Yep you, because love begets love and once you learn to love yourself properly then you can love others better. Trust me I know this to be true.....so what are your getting yourself? I want to know!

With Love and in the Light, Cassie

Get more of the essential fatty acids that your body needs! Try mega X
Research suggests that these help lower triglycerides, supports healthy lipid levels, supports normal cholesterol and blood pressure levels, helps with brain health, stress management, relaxation, vision.
Click here for more information or to order:  Plexus MegaX

Description

Did you know that your body doesn’t create the essential fatty acids that it needs? Plexus MegaX combines the benefits of omega 3, 6, 9, 5 and 7 all in one sustainable, ALA and SDA-rich, heart and brain health softgel. It is truly the complete omega product!*
Plexus MegaX was created using AHIFLOWER® Oil, which contains the omega 3 stearidonic acid (SDA) which your body converts to EPA (the omega-3 fatty acid found in fish oil) at a rate of up to 4 times more efficiently than our other plant-based oils which contain no SDA, such as flaxseed.*

Benefits

  • Research suggests that omega-3s may help lower triglyceride levels. Lower levels of triglycerides are associated with good health, especially cardiovascular health*
  • Supports healthy lipid levels*
  • Supports normal cholesterol and blood pressure levels, which can help promote cardiovascular health*
  • Support for brain health*
  • Supports healthy brain development *
  • Omega-3 fatty acids are considered essential fatty acids. Also known as polyunsaturated fatty acids, omega-3 fatty acids play a crucial role in brain function*
  • Some research suggests that omega-3s may have a positive effect on gradual memory loss linked to aging*
  • Helps with stress management*
  • Aids in relaxation*
  • Studies on DHA have suggested that a dietary supply of omega-3 fatty acids may be essential for optimal visual development*
  • Combines the full range of omega 3, 6, 9, 5 and 7

Features

  • Gluten-Free
  • Carrageenan-Free
  • No fishy aftertaste
  • AHIFLOWER® Oil is the only identity-preserved, non-GMO source of SDA produced following the proprietary Crop Assured 365® identity preservation and quality assurance methods
  • Sustainable and renewable. Other omega products use fish oil and krill oil, which cause concerns regarding overfishing and sustainability (krill and small oily fish such as pilchard, sardine, and anchovy are a primary food source for many endangered marine mammals)
  • No potential marine contaminants, mercury from fish, or PCBs (Polychlorinated biphenyls)
  • AHIFLOWER® Oil offers superior levels of SDA in comparison to other naturally occurring plant sources, providing approximately 60% more SDA than echium oil and 5-10 times more than hempseed oil.

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

So did everyone survive that winter storm last weekend? Are you done with winter yet? Ground Hog Day is Tuesday so we can always hope for him to predict an early end of winter, however the Farmers Almanac says otherwise and I think they are generally correct. What about you? Are you ready for winter to end or do you still have things you want to do? What do you like to do in the winter time?

Central Jersey has no shortage of hills and wide-open spaces. While some counties and municipalities shy away from encouraging sledding in their parks — fearing liability from injuries — there are still plenty of locations where the winter activity is officially sanctioned.
In the Union County parks system, officials allow sledding at Briant Park in Summit; the Summer Arts Hill near Springfield Avenue at Echo Lake Park in Westfield; Lenape Park in Cranford; the detention basin area of Meisel Park in Springfield; and Unami Park in Garwood.
The county also allows cross-country skiing at Ash Brook Golf Course in Scotch Plains, Oak Ridge Golf Course in Clark and Watchung Reservation in Mountainside.
In Middlesex County, sledding is allowed at Donaldson Park on South 2nd Street in Highland Park and Thompson Park on Forsgate Drive in Monroe.
New Brunswick allows sledding on the hill at Buccleuch Park.
The hill behind East Brunswick High School also is a popular spot.
South Brunswick allows sledding in its parks but says people “sled at their own risk.”
The township website says sledding is permitted only during daylight hours and that children should wear helmets, avoid scarves (which are a strangulation hazard) and use sleds that can be steered.
The website Sledriding.com says a good sledding spot in South Brunswick is at Woodlot Park, off New Road, to the left of the baseball fields.
While Somerset County’s park system does not officially allow sledding in any of its parks, some municipalities allow sledding on local land, such as Watchung Lake Park and the Warren Township Municipal Building.
The website JerseyFamilyFun.com also lists Duke Island Park and Hillside School in Bridgewater, Greenwood Meadows Park and Mt. Horeb School in Warren, and Village School in Montgomery as sledding places popular with locals.

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

How was everyone's week? Mine was good as it started off with a day off on Monday. I used the day to take my son on some errands he needed to do and then TV shopping. I went and got a nice 43 inch smart TV for under $400 for my bedroom and am quite pleased with it. I think I need to  get a wireless keyboard though as its too hard to use the remote. Anyone out there have experience with that? At any rate I  am all set up at home to stay in if we get the big storm predicted....are you?? How do you spend your snowed in days? (please leave a comment below so others can see your ideas)
