News and Events 11-25-16

Dear Friend or Friend to be,

So how was everyone's week? Mine was very tiring, both physically and mentally as I had to travel to Ohio for my Dad's funeral and pack up his apartment. Jeremy me drove me there Friday and in 3 days I managed to arrange and attend the funeral and get the whole place packed and stuff given away and made arrangements for removal of all old stuff. Then I had to drive myself home on Tuesday as Jeremy was bringing my Dad's car. Thank god for my Plexus Edge I don't think I would have stayed awake otherwise. But I also got lots of help from my family, and for them I am very grateful. I know many of you will be attending holiday dinners with family now, take my advice.. appreciate  them no matter what differences there may be for they will be gone from your life all too soon and all you will have left are the memories you are making NOW....

So how was everyone's week? Did you get all your leaves cleaned up yet? Over here mine are still falling, and they are not even MY leaves they are from a neighbors tree! I think whoever owns the tree should have to rake the leaves am I right? Then again I do get to enjoy the shade from that tree all summer... So tell me do your rake or mulch your leaves? I want to know...
*On a sadder note* My father passed away Wednesday evening so I am traveling to Ohio for the services and to clear out his apartment. Please keep my sons and I in your thoughts and prayers...

So how was everyone's week? Are you as relieved as I am that the elections are over? I was on the edge of my seat, and for the first time ever I stayed up till the President was announced. At one point I went to do an online jigsaw puzzle for a distraction and kept hearing a song my Mom used to sing "Let God Arise and His Enemies Be Scattered"!  I know many of you are not happy with who won but I for sure am, proof to me that God has not turned his back on this country. I truly believe that he is going to be true to his promise to be a president for ALL Americans and I hope those against him will be happy with most, if not all things he is going to do for us....

Happy Halloween! So who's going to costume parties? Who already has? What did you dress up as? Do you wear the same costume if you go to more than one party or do you wear different ones? I'd love to see a photo of you, you can post in the comment section below. Me I am passing out candy this year and not going to any dress up parties, just don't feel like doing the costume thing. I get that way and then I go back again. LOL I am really looking forward to having grand kids someday and buying or making costumes for them! I wonder if my cat will let me dress him up.....

I was really bummed out as my friend and I had planned a trip to north jersey to see his land and its located in a very lovely wooded area, I was very much looking forward to seeing the fall leaves and such.
